Writing Prompts

Each prompt is given to get the writer warmed up for writing.   The rules of the game are to use the prompt to free write for 10 minutes.   It can be used for character study, scenes, essays, or just whatever comes to mind when you read the prompt.

Here are the prompts given me by our teacher at The Grotto, Janis Cooke Newman.   She heads up a website and using daily prompts to get you writing.  Check it out www.creativecaffeine.blogspot.com

These writing prompts will change your habits and get the words flowing.
